In my earlier post, I mentioned that we managed to get a good deal for this resort. All thanks to airline staff rate :). For what we paid, we got ourselves a pool villa with an all-inclusive spa service. Yes you read it correctly, it’s unlimited!! That was what drew us to this resort in the first place.
We arrived in the evening, upon completion of all the paper work, we were ushered to our villa. The lady showed us around and explained everything to us. To our dismay, there’s a building under construction over-looking our pool. We were not too happy with that. So we asked for a change. Without hesitation, she get it done for us in less than 10 mins. From getting the new key card to moving us to the new room. Talking about efficiency here! We were trully impressed.
Our villa is Huge! The room is spacious, well decorated and makes you feel that the price is worth it. Four poster king size bed, sunken bath, coffee machine, ipod dock (you can loan an ipod from the resort foc if you don’t have one) outdoor seating area and private pool. We have no complains at all.
Besides the spa, you can have breakfast anytime, anywhere. You can choose to have it in your villa, by the pool or the beach anytime of the day. For late riser like me, this is a fantastic option. Breakfast buffet was good and there’s an ala carte menu to choose from as well.
There are 2 restaurants in the resort. We had dinner in one of the restaurant on our first night. They served pretty good food and not expensive at all. Quite decent for hotel standard- U$ 8 for a bowl of pho and U$ 3 for a bottle of beer. Of course you can get cheaper meals in Hoi An. But we were too famished to travel to Hoi An, so no choice but to eat in.
Everything about the resort is perfect. Superb resort-elegant, stylish yet not too pretentious, good service, friendly people, quiet and not crowded. Oh, did I mention about the beach? Long stretch of white powdery beach. By far, one of the best we have seen.
But the only (slight) disappointment would be the unlimited spa. NO, it’s NOT unlimited. The most is 2 treatments of 50 mins per day and it is a battle trying to get slot for the spa treatments. For our massages (body massage that requires clothes off) we were always assigned male massuer although there were female ones available. Maybe they are very open minded but definitely not me!! They still need a bit more time to adjust to minor details. For a spa freak like me, I find that the quality of the spa service were good and quite up to standard.
Overall, a great stay and we had a jolly good time. We can’t wait to be back. All these photos will do no justice for this place, you have to experience it for yourself 🙂
p/s: If you are thinking of visiting Danang, don’t hesitate. There are many resorts sprucing up along the beach, I’m sure in a few years time, mass tourism will set in and the charm of the place will be lost.
